Over the past few week I have been working on know the relative size and place value structure positive and negative integers and decimals to three places

We had to do 3 IXL actives and get 100 % in all of them here are some screen shots of each IXL activity we had to do

1 compare and order decimals
the symbol < and > means that the number is higher than the other number when the crocodile mouth is open eg 3.13<4.14 the crocodile mouth is saying that  4.14 is bigger than 3.13






2 Put integers in order
put the numbers in order from smallest to largest or largest to smallest

here is a number line

-5 -4 -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 4 5 

the five before the zero is the smallest because it is negative number

3 round decimals

37.6 rounded to the nearest whole number

4 and below you don't add another number
5 and higher then you add one number
 6 is higher than 4 so you add one number
from 37 the answer is 38
