At technology and on the bus merit badge must do

Today the year 7/8 went to Lincoln primary school to do technology which is cooking,science, wood work,  text stiles and design.
We get onto the bus and talk to the person next to us which  is mostly are friends.
We don't talk to other people that are way at the back shouting if we are sitting at the front.
finally we get to Lincoln and go to our class. I am in text stiles and we are collaborating with the other group design to make something either from the 3D printer or sewing.
Me and my friend are making a pineapple toy and the mouth is a water melon because I like pineapples and my friend likes water melon so we wanted to combine the two together.

What 

While the year 7's are on camp the year 8's were helping the juniors in their classroom

with their learning.

We got put into small groups  and went to are classroom that Mr McAven told us to go to and work with the little kids that just had started school this year and last year.

Why/when 

We did this because we are trying to build a relationship/ friendship so they don't think we are big scary monsters and so they can tell us things and not be frighted.

We did this Today (Thursday) and yesterday (Wednesday) and in the junior classrooms (14,17,18 and 19).

How you felt about it 

It was really fun interacting with the juniors and seeing what they are up to and how different it was when I was a year 1.

What

While the other  group was working with the little kids my big group were working in the garden and harvesting the sweet corn in the maize maze.

Why/when

We did this because the sweet corn was ready to be harvest and cause the maize maze really did need some weeding and we did it today ( Thursday and Wednesday).

How I felt about it

working in the garden was a bit boring to be honest because I do not like gardening.

Role Model must do merit badge 2016

in year 7/8 it is good to be a role model

younger students look up to you and follow you in your foot steps.

you don't want to be a bad role model like not wearing your hat in the playground because younger students might see you not wearing one and think it is good not to be wearing a hat

a good role model could be turning up to your duty on time
