What
While the year 7's are on camp the year 8's were helping the juniors in their classroom
with their learning.
We got put into small groups and went to are classroom that Mr McAven told us to go to and work with the little kids that just had started school this year and last year.
Why/when
We did this because we are trying to build a relationship/ friendship so they don't think we are big scary monsters and so they can tell us things and not be frighted.
We did this Today (Thursday) and yesterday (Wednesday) and in the junior classrooms (14,17,18 and 19).
How you felt about it
It was really fun interacting with the juniors and seeing what they are up to and how different it was when I was a year 1.
What
While the other group was working with the little kids my big group were working in the garden and harvesting the sweet corn in the maize maze.
Why/when
We did this because the sweet corn was ready to be harvest and cause the maize maze really did need some weeding and we did it today ( Thursday and Wednesday).
How I felt about it
working in the garden was a bit boring to be honest because I do not like gardening.
